What time should I arrive?

The nikkah ceremony will start promptly at 2:30, followed by cocktail hour and reception. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes early to avoid missing anything.

Are children allowed?

This event is intended for guests 10 and older. We kindly ask that children under 10 not attend. Thank you for understanding!

A nikkah is the Islamic marriage ceremony — a sacred contract between the bride and groom. It's typically short, beautiful, and filled with love and dua (prayers).

What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress modestly and respectfully. Traditional South Asian or Islamic attire is welcome — think festive, elegant, and comfortable. The ceremony will be held outdoors, so don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses! All colors are welcome, but we kindly ask that you avoid wearing white or red. If you’re unsure, semi-formal is a safe and stylish choice. Men are welcome to wear suits.
