The temple has a parking facility (although with very limited parking) on Smart Street, opposite to the Community Center. Parking here is free. Street parking is available in all streets around the temple. You may also park your car just a block away at CENTRAL PARKING SYSTEM, next to Flushing Hospital on 45th Avenue. (Entrance via Burling Street.) Parking fee at this location is $7 per car if the stub is validated by the Temple counter or Community Center office (via Ganesh Temple website).
If you cannot make it by 8, you will miss the groom’s arrival (Baraat). However, the main event is between 10:30am-1pm. Please make all efforts to arrive by 10AM. It is totally fine to trickle in at any time throughout the event, and it is ok to leave early if you must.
The dress code is Indian traditional or Western formal/semiformal.
