Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! There is a park near the pavilion and there will be lots of kid friendly games to play. Please note there are no high chairs at the venue so please plan accordingly.

What if it's raining out?

Answer

If the weather turns sour the ceremony will be held under a canopy. It is October so it will be cold outside, feel free to bring a blanket to snuggle into! There will be a fire going in the pavilion.

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

Unfortunately no. There will be alcohol served so please plan a sober ride. Carpool, have a DD or call an uber!

Do I need any cash for the bar?

Answer

Nope! Brody and I want everyone to enjoy themselves on us! There will be plenty of water, pop, beer and wine for everyone. We will be having a fundraiser though and if you would like to match our donations of $5 per guest you are more than welcome to!

Brody and I feel very strongly about donating to organizations that help make the world a better place. Planned Parenthood is one of those organizations! Last year PP provided care to 2.4 million patients, 9.7 million services provided, almost 5 million STI testing and treatments, over 2.5 million birth control services provided and over half a million breast and pap tests conducted finding over 70,000 cases of cancer or abnormalities! For many women, youth and trans individuals PP is their ONLY source of healthcare or reproductive education. We would love if you could match the donation made in your name. There will be a donation box at the wedding if you feel inclined to contribute. Thank you!

What is a zero waste event?

Answer

This is a zero waste event! A Zero Waste Event produces less than 1 ounce of trash per person. Please help us to achieve this by carefully following the signs of where to dispose of items. If you would like to bring a water bottle to the event please make sure it is not a single-serving bottle. Brody and I love to enjoy the outdoors and believe strongly in the camping motto "leave it better than you found it." We believe this motto applies to our planet as well. We may have a small impact in the scheme of things but we would like to make a positive one. Is the couple going on a honeymoon?

Answer

Yes! The day after the wedding Brody and I are headed to Iceland! We've never been before and can not wait to enjoy hiking among the glaciers, volcanoes, and hopefully northern lights!
