Our journey began in 2015, in the simplest way—working out side by side. At the time, we were just two people sharing space, unaware of how deeply our lives would soon intertwine. One day, someone casually asked Kareem if Ananca was his girlfriend. His answer was simple: “No… but I hope one day she becomes my wife.” What seemed like a passing comment became the quiet beginning of something real. On February 26th, 2016, we made it official. Our love story hasn’t been perfect, no real love story ever is, but what we found in each other was genuine, strong, and worth choosing every single day. Through every challenge and every triumph, we grew together, learning that love isn’t just about the good moments, but about standing firm through it all. Two years later, on that very same date, February 26th, our son was born, deepening our bond in the most beautiful way. Then, four years after that, our daughter arrived in June, also on the 26th. June has always held a special place in our hearts, it’s the time we set aside to reconnect, to date each other again, to reset and simply be us. Her arrival during that sacred time felt like a reminder of everything we’ve built together. So it only feels right that we continue this pattern, this meaning, this love, by choosing the 26th as the day we say “I do.” Eleven years after that simple hope was spoken out loud, those words are no longer just a wish, they are our reality. Our story is not perfect, but it is ours. Built on love, strengthened by time, and rooted in the promise that no matter what comes, we will always choose each other.
