The Wedding Website of Ana Maria M and Steve S

Flight

.

Thank you for making the trip to celebrate with us! If you are traveling from the States there are direct flights from some cities such as NYC and Miami to Lima. Flights are usually cheaper if you are able to book ~6 months ahead of time.

Hotel

.

For your stay in Lima, we suggest booking a hotel or airbnb in the following neighborhoods: * Miraflores - popular tourist district by the coast with a vibrant nightlife and different options of bar and cafes * San Isidro - elegant and charming residential neighborhood with upper end restaurants and hotels * Barranco - one of Lima’s hipster neighborhood with colourful art, casonas “old mansions” and cool bars Below you can find some recommended hotels: * Country Club Lima Hotel * JW Marriott Hotel Lima * Atemporal - boutique hotel in Miraflores * Casa Wynwood Barranco

Rental Car

.

The easiest and fastest way to get around Lima is with cabs. You can hail taxis on the streets, but we highly suggest using 'Cabify' app or requesting your hotel to call a cab for you.

Travel Note

.

Credit cards are widely accepted In most establishments. It is always good, though, to have some cash on hand especially if traveling outside Lima. Exchanging in the airport is always more expensive so we suggest getting 'Soles' (the Peruvian currency) once you arrive to your hotel. There are many exchange houses around so we suggest asking your hotel for the ones nearby.
