Hohenzollern Castle
30 minutes away from Tübingen, this castle is the Ancestral seat of the Prussian Royal House and of the Hohenzollern Princes. There is no direct connection from Tübingen to Burg Hohenzollern. However, you can take the train to Hechingen Bf/ZOB, walk to Hechingen Bf/ZOB, take the line 302 bus to Boll Kaiser, then walk to Burg Hohenzollern. Alternatively, you can then take the taxi to Burg Hohenzollern.

Hohentübingen Castle
Hohentübingen Castle looks more like a castle. In the Middle Ages it was, too, and was first mentioned in 1078 as "castrum twingia". Today, the University of Tübingen resides up here with the Institute of Classical Archaeology and its Museum of Ancient Cultures.
