May I bring a plus one?

Answer

We expect to be at capacity for our venue which means we are unable to account for additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on the RSVP page.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We encourage springtime cocktail attire. Entering both the ceremony and reception locations, there is a combination of grass, gravel, and paved surfaces. All indoor locations have hard floors.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

You are welcome to arrive up to 30 mins prior to the ceremony (2:00pm at the earliest). Please visit our SCHEDULE page for full details.

Restroom accessibility?

Answer

Old St. John's is in fact old and a historic landmark site. There are no bathrooms inside the church. There will be a single stall handicap accessible portal restroom located just outside the building. Aldie Mansion has multiple restrooms one floor below the reception and one single stall handicap accessible restroom on the same level as the reception.

What should I expect after the wedding Mass?

Answer

Following the wedding Mass , it is a 25-30 drive to Aldie Mansion for the reception. Cocktail hour will begin at 4:00 pm.

What is being served at cocktail hour and dinner?

Answer

Cocktail hour will include seasonal hors d’oeuvres. You will have the opportunity to choose your main course for seated dinner. The bar will include a selection of wine, beer, and non alcoholic options will be available. Leave room for dessert!

I have dietary restrictions. How do I communicate those with you?

Answer

Our caterer takes food allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. There is a section on the RSVP that allows you to list your personal needs. If you have additional questions feel free to email us directly (analieseelizabeth@gmail.com).

Where can I stay the night?

Answer

We have made room block reservations at 3 local hotels. Please visit TRAVEL + ACCOMMODATIONS for full details including discounted rates. If you prefer something more intimate, there are many B&Bs in the area and we have listed some of those as well.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events.

Where do I park?

Answer

Old St. John's (Wedding Mass) Option 1: On street parking along Haycock Run Road. Option 2: Cemetery behind the church. Option 3: HANDICAP designated parking along the left side of the church. Aldie Mansion (Reception) Free parking lot directly marked after the entrance.

Are the events handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! At Old St. John's, there is a direct accessible route from the handicap parking to the entrance. At Aldie Mansion, there is a wheelchair accessible route to the right of the main entrance. Main entrance has a single step up.

I’m visiting out of town. What is of interest in the area?

Answer

Doylestown, PA is a beautiful area and has many scenic activities perfect for spring weather. Visit our EXPLORE page for more information.
