The hike up Cadillac Mountain is about 4 to 5 miles round trip, depending on the route, and typically takes around 2 to 3 hours at a moderate pace. Other highlights include the Ocean Path along the coast, Jordan Pond, and the carriage roads for walking or biking. Acadia is about a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Belfast, making it an easy and scenic day trip if you’re extending your stay around the wedding.
Rockland is a lively coastal town with a strong food and arts scene. It’s home to the Farnsworth Art Museum, a long waterfront path, and a growing list of excellent restaurants. Rockland feels a bit more energetic than some neighboring towns and is a great spot for gallery hopping, a long lunch, or dinner by the water. Rockland is about a 45 minute drive from Belfast and pairs well with a visit to Camden or nearby coastal stops.
