Extremely walkable from here, you can enjoy a morning coffee at Brown Bear Baking or have brunch at the fancy New Leaf Café, located on-site.
[6.2 miles, ~12 min drive to the venue] This historic property now offers contactless, 24-hour check-in, without a front desk, so good if you are getting in late or early. It's just a short drive from Eastsound and a short walk to scenic hiking trails in Moran State Park.

[ 9.3 miles, ~.5 mile hike from the campsites to the trailhead, then a ~18 min drive from the trailhead to the venue] For a secluded, back-to-nature experience, Obstruction Pass State Park offers hike-in, primitive beachside campsites along Orcas Island’s only public saltwater beach. There are no vehicle-accessible sites, but this is first-come-first-serve so you don't need a reservation. Good for a last resort.
