His Perspective: I first became aware of Anaielly early on in high school. The moment I laid eyes on her I knew she was special. After attempting over the years to ask her out she finally agreed. Our first date consisted of dinner, drinks, and some gambling at Pechanga. Shortly after our first date Ana and I took a roadtrip up to San Luis Obispo. This is the first time we weren't surrounded by friends - a time where I got to really get to know her. Within in those first few hours I knew that I wanted to be with her forever. She instantly became my best friend and the love of my life. Her Perspective: It all started right before a high school dance. I was over at the Kennedy's house my freshman year of high school taking pictures with my best friends and in walks Maurice. After that day, I had a huge crush that seemed like a fantasy. He was a senior, and I was a freshman. I knew the odds were slim, but a girl could dream. Life went on, and our lives took us on two very different paths, I went to San Diego, and he went to South Dakota. Maurice would message me every couple of months and ask how I was doing. I knew he was special when my heart would flutter when I talked to him. After denying him for years, I finally decided to give him a chance- It's a date. I drove down from San Diego and met him outside the steps of his house. I was so nervous. Ten years of chasing, and the day was finally here. He greeted me at the door and gave me the royal tour; after two glasses of wine, a phenomenal steak dinner, and a shot of tequila, we made our way to Pechanga Casino, where we had the best time. That night, we had our first kiss. The fairytale feels aren't just in the movies. This man made me feel like the only girl in the world, and after that night, I knew he was the one. We went on a trip together right after, flew to Mexico, and even moved in. I can't imagine my life with anyone else, and I can't wait to marry the love of my life.
