As any modern love story, it all began with a swipe right on a dating app. Anabell saw Ben's profile and was intrigued by his music taste and decided to swipe right. It was a match! but she had a rule never to message a guy first so she waited. To her surprise, she never received a message from him. Anabell really didn't want to risk losing this match so she decided to throw her rule out the window and make the first move with a message that said "You have really good music taste". From that point on, they talked everyday. However, the love story didn't fully begin there because Ben was living in Germany at the time and Anabell was in NJ. Dates were held via Skype and they finally got to meet in person during August of 2018. Daily Skype sessions turned into 24/7 marathons while they did long distance and traveled back and forth to visit each other. It was not easy but when you know, you know and Ben and Anabell just couldn't separate from each other no matter how many miles were in between. Who would have thought 6 years ago that a swipe on a dating app between 2 people an ocean apart would lead to such a beautiful and adventure filled life together.
