From Anabel's words: Christian and I met at Nativity’s youth group in 2004. We also attended the same high school and occasionally saw eachother in the hallways. After graduating we went our separate ways and eight years later we crossed paths again at the same church. When I returned to my home parish, Nativity, I was asked to volunteer as the Hispanic Youth Group minister and I gladly accepted but at the same time I realized I needed some help with the kiddos. I wanted to ask a male adult figure as my helper so that the boys could have someone to look up to, so I had to discern who to ask. I thought of Christian, asked him to help me, and he timidly said yes. At that time we were just friends and didn't really talk much outside of church. However, throughout the academic year and various events Christian slowly came out of his shell. There were so many instances that demonstrated his qualities and my admiration for him grew. I realized how our personalities, though opposite, complemented eachother. I also realized the deep sense of peace and joy I had when I was around him.

From the couple: We both found it fitting to get married at the same church where our love story began. The ceremony will begin at noon but please arrive 15 minutes early to get seated and to have the opportunity to enjoy the music prepared by the Lupe Ladies. We will be providing wedding programs before the celebration that will explain the ceremony for our non-catholic friends and family. We invite everyone to participate during the Nuptial Mass: a beautiful, joyous celebration of the union of Anabel and Christian. We are excited to share this special day with all of our guests.
