Crepes & Waffles is a beloved Colombian restaurant chain known for its delicious sweet and savory crepes, waffles, and ice creams. Celebrated for its quality, affordability, and warm atmosphere, it’s a favorite for locals and visitors alike. Fun fact: this is Ana's favorite restaurant chain in Colombia. They have an extensive menu and she's never once had a bad meal there. Their artisanal ice cream and mini waffles with arequipe (Colombian caramel) or Nutella are also always on her brain constantly when she's back in the States. She also highly recommends the fresh juices and lemonades (her and TJ's favorites are the Hierbabuena Limonada and the Blackberry Juice (for juices they will ask if you want it milk- or water-based... think smoothie vs just juice - Ana likes just the juice, TJ likes it milk-based). Fun fact #2: The women working here are all single mothers who support their families as the head of the household and she thinks that's pretty cool too! B-Corps for the win!
TJ and I really enjoyed our experience here, I'll be honest not as much for the food (although it was great) but for the cocktails and the 360-view of the city. It's very much a story-telling restaurant with fun cocktail experiences and a great atmosphere that usually includes some form of live music. The view is just fantastic, especially at night.
