Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to the mass so you have time to find a seat and get settled before the processional begins.

Because our ceremony is taking place in a Catholic church, we kindly request that shoulders be covered while inside the sanctuary. Bringing a shawl, pashmina, or your winter coat to slip on during the Mass is perfect!

Yes, there is parking available for all guests on-site.

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code is semi-formal. Suits and ties and cocktail dresses are all perfect.

Our ceremony will be a full Catholic Mass celebrating the Sacrament of Matrimony, and we anticipate it will last approximately 60 to 75 minutes.

Is there a gap between the ceremony and the reception?Is there a gap between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony starts at 1:00 PM , and our reception kicks off with cocktail hour at 6:00 PM. During the gap, we recommend checking into your hotel to freshen up, grabbing a coffee, or enjoying a quick drink at a local spot in the Lombard, Wheaton, or Bloomingdale area before heading to the golf club.

It is a December wedding in Illinois, so the weather can definitely be unpredictable! Both Sacred Heart and the Bloomingdale Golf Club have plenty of parking, but please factor in a little extra driving time between Lombard and Bloomingdale just in case we get some winter weather.

Yes! We know you'll be arriving in your winter gear. There will be a dedicated place with an attendant to hang your heavy winter coats at the reception so you don't have to drape them over your chairs before hitting the dance floor.
