Our Story

We’re not entirely sure who made the first move, but one thing is certain — on January 24th, 2023, our lives changed forever.

After a dinner filled with laughter, a bottle of wine, and Ana talking non-stop, we knew we wanted every night to feel just like that.

Soon after, we booked a trip to Italy. Maybe it was the prosecco, the views, or just the company, but somewhere along the way… we fell in love.

Not the kind of love that makes your heart race with nerves — the kind that makes you feel calm, safe, and home.

Regil left for work, and Ana (very casually) moved in. Surprise — new roommate!

(Just kidding, we both agreed.) We kept Ana’s old place as “storage” for a year… mostly for all her hobby supplies.

By December 2024, we knew we were all in and made it official. We said goodbye to the Storage.

We were already talking about building a life together, and after what felt like forever (at least to Ana), Regil proposed on April 19, 2025.

In the most unexpected place, on a totally normal day — and it was the best surprise.

He got down on one knee, and Ana screamed so loudly you could probably hear her from West Van all the way to Montreal.

From the start, we knew we’d have two weddings: a small, legal one in Canada, and a big celebration in Mexico where the real party begins.

Giving us the opportunity to experience Ana’s roots, culture, history and share this special moment with our friends and family in who couldn’t attend the Canadian celebration
