What does Semi-Formal/Cocktail look like?

Answer

For women: a tasteful midi/knee length dress (long is fine if you don't mind the weather), jumpsuit, or dressy separates. For men: a suit and tie, or sports coat. A nice button up and dress pants/khakis will do just fine!

Yes, children are welcome at our wedding. We kindly ask parents to be aware that our reception will feature uncensored music and include alcoholic beverages.

How hot will it be?

August is usually in the high 70s to low 80s. The venue is in a woodsy area, which it allows it to be cooler and more comfortable.

Can I wear shorts?

To put it simply, if you would wear it to a business conference then you can wear it here.

There will be free parking at the venue.
