Built in 1164, Saint Panteleimon is one of Macedonia’s oldest churches. A stunning example of Byzantine architecture, it features remarkable frescoes depicting key moments in the life of Jesus, including the Transfiguration, the Raising of Lazarus, the Birth of the Mother of God, and the Descent from the Cross.
