For adults-mix of bars and restaurants.

Downtown Days

Lee’s Summit is having their annual fair in their little downtown area the same weekend of our wedding! Local shops, little food stands, carnival games, and a little taste of where the bride grew-up. I recommend as a buffer activity between Ceremony and Reception since this is only about 5mins from the church.

Hawg Jaw Que & Brew

900 Swift Street, North Kansas City, MO 64116

One of the Groom’s favorite KC BBQ. Drive around this area and you’ll find some KC Breweries.

Tay's Burger Shack

1019 Armour Road, North Kansas City, MO 64116

One of our favorites dates was grabbing a burger from this little shack (AMAZING BURGERS) and riding the bikes around NKC.

Betty Rae's Ice Cream

412 Delaware Street, Kansas City, MO 64105

Our favorite Ice Cream and also voted KC’s Best Ice Cream!

Slap's BBQ

553 Central Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66101

Groom’s second favorite BBQ place! Beware this place gets packed on sunny days.

Q39 - Midtown

1000 West 39th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111

Looking for a restaurant with an upscale BBQ scene, then Q39 is a must and one of the Bride’s favorite BBQ places.
