Conor and Ana met on the dating app Hinge. Conor liked a picture of Ana that he later learned was of her taking an Irish cooking class. Conor grew up in an Irish family and was confused as to why an Irish cooking class would exist and wanted to know why anyone would take it. They had their first date at West End pub where they both found out they really liked each other. Conor offered to walk Ana home after the date and Ana accepted. When they reached Ana's door, they found out they had been living across the alley from each other for 2 years without ever crossing each other’s paths. Ana then asked if she could meet Conor’s dog Dewey. They then took Dewey for a walk around Arrigo park. Ana felt meeting Dewey was the icing on the cake after a great first date. They planned a second date right then and there and never looked back.

It was a cool fall morning, Conor and Ana went out on a bike ride along the lake shore to see the sunrise. It was something they had been talking about doing for quite some time but didn't get around to it until that day. Little did Ana know what Conor was planning all along.
