A quintessential outdoor London market with many food vendors. Fun for a wander or to scope some lunch!
Of course we can't celebrate our marriage next door to the Globe theatre and not recommend it! If you're a Shakespeare fan or want a unique theatrical experience, this is your theatre. You can purchase standing tickets for only £5!
We recommend skipping the Shard and going here instead for stunning views of the city while enjoying a cocktail or coffee. The top floor is an indoor conservatory brimming with plants. You will need to book a free ticket to take the elevator to the top through their website (https://skygarden.london/).
Travel around London in a different way by catching a Thames Clipper boat. One possible route is to take a boat from Westminster (after snapping an obligatory picture of Big Ben) to Battersea Power Station. This is a beautiful historic power station which was recently renovated and now is home to many upscale shops and restaurants. Or go east (instead of west) from Westminster to Greenwich to check out part of Britain's storied naval history and the prime meridian.
Trendy neighborhood (aka borough in London speak) with lots of cool shops, restaurants, bars and graffiti. For a longer walk to explore some of London's hip boroughs, start at Shoreditch High Street and make your way north to the Columbia Road Flower Market and further on to Bethnal Green and Victoria Park.
If you're looking for a long stroll on a nice sunny day, this is a good choice! Walk along Regent's Canal starting in the area known as Little Venice and make your way through Regent's Park, Camden and finish in King's Cross.
You'll be able to easily see the iconic dome of St Paul's Cathedral from our wedding party venue, but it's worth getting up close and personal with Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece by paying for a ticketed visit, or get in for free for worship.
