It was a Saturday night. I was relaxing and enjoying a rare night out with all my friends. With life and work it was rare we all get together. The spot was in Hartford a place we had been to once before that played Reggaeton, Flaming Llama. We were by the bar when I first noticed you there with your friend Sara. The way you moved about the room it was like the night was yours and we were all just audience in attendance. I knew I had to get your attention but decided to wait for the right moment. Not to long after you found your way by my side, standing there with your friend by the bar then she went off to dance with someone. I could tell you liked bachata and wanted to dance. You had this look of jealousy on your face that someone had stolen your dancing partner for the night. I figured this was my moment. I told myself I know just enough bachata to get by so I reached out in front of you to take your hand. Without saying a word you looked at me and accepted my gesture. And before I knew it a regular night out “chilling” with my friends started what would be a passionate relationship that has lead us to this moment.
