In 1991, Spain’s oldest winemaking family, Raventós Codorníu, ventured to a new world: a sea-facing hillside in the Napa Valley, with rocky soils and a favorable coastal climate. It was here in Los Carneros, that we planted new roots, building upon a 460-year winemaking legacy to create the next generation of Estate Grown, artisan wines. We named it Artesa.
Oprah's favorite English Muffins, even before she discovered these amazingly delicious English Muffins, local chefs in Napa Valley were in on the secret and using these bad babies as hamburger buns, for eggs benedicts in local cafes, and just toasted with jam and butter. Also not to miss is their peanut butter cookies! There are two locations, one in St. Helena, a great stop on your way to Calistoga, and one downtown Napa in the famous Oxbow Market, where you can walk around and sample some of the best of the best food stalls.
Napa has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to wine.
