We are thrilled to celebrate our wedding in the stunning Diego Rivera Court at the Detroit Institute of Arts. This iconic space is home to the Detroit Industry Murals, a series of 27 frescoes painted by renowned Mexican artist Diego Rivera between 1932 and 1933. The murals are a tribute to Detroit’s industrial legacy, portraying the city’s workers, factories, and machinery in breathtaking detail. Rivera’s work blends art and history, drawing from Mexican mural traditions while honoring Detroit’s pivotal role in the modern world. The murals are a masterpiece of Mexican cultural heritage and stand as a symbol of unity, labor, and human resilience. The wedding will take place indoors, surrounded by these awe-inspiring works of art, and we can’t wait to share this incredible space—and moment—with all of you!

We would love for our special day to feel as elegant as the love we’re celebrating! To help set the tone, we kindly ask our guests to wear black-tie optional attire. What does that mean? For men, this typically includes a tuxedo, dark suit, or formal jacket and tie. For women, a floor-length gown, cocktail dress, or dressy separates are perfect. Think sophisticated and polished, while still feeling comfortable and yourself. Thank you for dressing up and adding to the magic of our day!

We’re so excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest! To keep our celebration intimate, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. If a plus-one is included, their name will appear on your invitation. Additionally, while we adore your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you can enjoy this special evening as a night out to relax and celebrate with us! Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate together!
