For those staying at Villa il Poggiale, check-in is Saturday, May 23rd from 2pm-7pm. Check-out is Tuesday, May 26th at 11am.
Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. Those invited will be addressed on the RSVP section of the website.
We invite our guests to join us in Black Tie Optional Garden Party attire. Suits or tuxedos with ties or bow ties are recommended for men; women may wear floor-length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. Colorful, elevated, and textured looks are encouraged to complement the garden setting and evening weather. If you’re unsure, slightly overdressed is always a safe choice.
For those of you who are staying at the Villa, we ask that you meet at the pick-up spot no later than 1:30pm, as the bus will leave promptly at 1:45pm. For those of you who aren't staying at the Villa, we suggest pre-booking transportation to the church prior to the day-of, as you need a specific permit to drive into the city. We ask that everyone finds their seats before 3:15, as the doors will close prior to the ceremony beginning. Please note that the bus can't take guests directly to the church as there are no roads nearby. After the drop-off, guests should expect being escorted on a short walk the remainder of the way.
Both! The ceremony will be held indoors at a church in Florence, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour and reception, with indoor space available for guests. (Please note that the welcome party will also be outdoors).
During the month of May, Tuscany weather can vary, however the average is around 70-80 degrees. Please also take into account the possibility of rain throughout the weekend.
There are spots to park overnight if you are staying at the villa. If you are not staying at the venue, parking may vary based on your chosen hotel/VRBO.
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.
Please RSVP by January 31st, 2026. This will help us finalize all the details and ensure everyone has an amazing experience on our special day.
If you have dietary restrictions, please text Ana-Loren directly at (913)-944-2802.
Pickpocketing is common in Europe. If you are mindful and aware, especially on public transportation and in crowded landmarks, you should have no problems and have nothing to worry about. We recommend keeping bags zipped and worn in front, using crossbody or anti-theft bags, and carrying valuables in front pockets or hotel safes. Be cautious of distractions such as unsolicited help, “free” items, or petitions. Staying aware and keeping belongings secure will go a long way in keeping your travels stress-free.
The closest airport to the venue is the Florence airport (FLR), but Bologna (BLQ) and Pisa (PSA) are also good options. Milan (MXP), Rome (FCO) and Venice (VCE) are all accessible to Florence and would be just a short ride - around 2 hours or less (depending on location) - to the Santa Maria Novella Train Station in Florence. If you need help booking train tickets from an airport, please feel free to contact us, and we will happily help.
