In April of 2020, we made the decision to postpone our original wedding plans due to the ongoing pandemic. We selected a new date in the fall of 2021, a truly beautiful time to explore the Lakes Region! With such uncertain times ahead, we decided to go ahead with a small, private wedding ceremony. On July 19, 2020, we exchanged vows on Squam Lake. We are proceeding with our wedding plans for September 17, 2021 so that we may renew our vows in the presence of our friends & family, whom we've missed dearly this past year. We also can't wait to introduce the newest Mathieu family member, our daughter, arriving this summer! We hope it will be a safer time for all this fall, and that we can celebrate comfortably together.

On a cold St. Patrick’s Day evening in the city of Boston, the scene was set for a lucky encounter that would last a lifetime. As Zach wandered into a bar on the north end of Boston, his eyes locked with Amy's from across the room. Amy, who was about to leave the bar, knew she had to talk to him and convinced her friend, and now maid of honor, to stay. Zach was with two lifelong friends, out and about in the city for the evening. A conversation was struck, a second date led to a third, and before long a relationship had sprouted in the most unlikely of meetings. Amy and Zach spent the next year visiting each other in their two respective hometowns, exploring the best each had to offer. Before long, they both realized this was a forever kind of love. Now, living happily in New Hampshire, the couple is thrilled to invite you to a special place for their wedding. Amy and Zach visit the Lakes Region often and know you’ll enjoy the area just as much as they do!
