Last summer, we spent two weeks exploring Croatia and absolutely fell in love with the country! If you are planning on joining us for our wedding celebration, we can't wait to see you there! We will be in Dubrovnik from Saturday, May 18th through Tuesday, May 21st. We would love to see you around town! Croatia is a vibrant, coastal country on the edge of the Adriatic Sea in the Mediterranean. The waters are crystal clear and it's an incredible place to swim and snorkel. The food is a mix between Italian and Mediterranean with a lot of seafood. It's some of the best food we've had! If you are planning on exploring Croatia further, it's quite easy and inexpensive to get around using their local ferries. Before traveling to Croatia, we recommend watching the Croatia episode of 'Somebody Feed Phil'. It is a great food tour of the country to get you excited. Old Town Dubrovnik

Old Town has many tiny streets to explore with cafes and shops. Along the edges there are swimming spots. Be aware that there are A LOT of stairs throughout all of Old Town.

Dubrovnik City Walls Walking Tour

This walking tour is an incredible way to explore the city walls of Old Town Dubrovnik and see the beautiful Adriatic sea. It is a 1.2 mile walk. The city wall tickets include Fort Lovrjenac, which is our wedding venue so you don't need to explore this. We would strongly recommend buying tickets in advance. Tickets online are 35 euros for adults and 15 euros for children.

Dubrovnik Cable Car

This cable car takes you all the way to the top of the city to over look Old Town and the Adriatic Sea. It has breath taking views!

Stradun Street

This is the Main Street in Old Town Dubrovnik. It is very busy, but a must!

This is a great inexpensive lunch spot in Dubrovnik Old Town. We highly recommend the Octopus and Salmon burger.

Banje Beach

This is one of the most well known sandy beaches in Dubrovnik. It's just a short 5-10 minute walk from Old Town Dubrovnik. There is a restaurant and a cafe along with a variety of rentals for the water.

Buža Bar

This is located on the rocks beneath the city walls. You will stumble upon a literal hole in the city wall and it opens up to a spectacular view. It's a cafe to grab a drink and sit on the rocks to view the beautiful sea view. You can even jump in and swim if you are brave!

This is a higher end restaurant that we recommend if you feel like splurging! This is not child friendly, but it is excellent food and a great view of the city.

Lokrum Island

Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Croatia

You can catch a short ferry ride over the island from Dubrovnik. It is a relaxing island full of beaches and gardens.
