The Lilac Festival coincides with the weekend of our wedding! This is "the largest free festival of its kind in North America" and other than enjoying the beautiful lilacs, we always love browsing local artists' offerings, listening to live entertainment, and people watching!
One of our favorite places! As the founder of the Eastman Kodak Company, George Eastman really "put Rochester on the map" and has a lot of personal significance for both our families. Make sure to check out both the museum and mansion, as well as the gardens!
You're never too old to play :-) Amy has fond memories of frequenting the museum growing up, especially the craft "inspiration stations" and the thematic libraries. Mini Wegmans is a personal fave, as well as the butterfly exhibit. For the ~slightly~ more mature play enthusiast, Zach and Amy recommend all the retro arcade games and the Toy Hall of Fame too!
The Walt Disney World experience of grocery shopping, and among the places that Zach and Amy miss most living in Atlanta. If you have never been to Wegmans before, we highly suggest the Pittsford location. It is an EXPERIENCE!
Arguably the best mall in the Rochester area. Nevertheless, it is the only mall with Anthropologie and the Apple Store.
A super chic indoor beer garden with great food and great drinks! We recently discovered this restaurant on a visit to our venue, Ravenwood, and highly recommend checking out NYBP!
If you haven't eaten here before, note the sizes so you don't end up with too much ice cream (not that this would be bad, of course!)
Zach's favorite! Amy likes the subs better from Wegmans, but agrees that the atmosphere is wayy cooler at Dibella's. And Wegmans bought the roll recipe from Dibella's anyway.
One of our first dates- we love the gelato :-P
Jamaican me crazy!
We love Sonnenberg! And we had our engagement pictures here!
