Tom & Amy first met on Hinge, with Amy's interesting Halloween costume catching Tom's eye and his funny answers catching hers. And like most Hinge conversions, it sadly fizzled out. But! Fate was not to be deterred and the very next week, Amy & Tom's kickball teams played against each other. They started chatting at the kickball after party (Amy recognized Tom instantly) and the rest is history! The couple started officially dating in February 2020, and if anyone recalls 2020....it was a less than ideal time to be starting a new relationship. But through many FaceTime calls, virtual movie dates, and sitting in the McDonald's parking lot on the hoods of their cars 6ft apart, they made it work. Over the years, Amy & Tom have gone on many adventures together like traveling to Scotland, Disney World, and Mexico or having fun locally at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. In August 2023, the couple moved into their Dupont Circle apartment where they continue to live. And then, on Memorial Day 2025, after a dinner at Rappahannock Oyster Bar, Tom walked Amy over to the pier at The Wharf and asked her to marry him. And the rest...well, you know. AND IN JULY 2025 THEY GOT A DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HIS NAME IS RAVIOLI AND WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH
