Question

What is happening with COVID-19 and your wedding in general?

Answer

#1 FIRST AND FOREMOST: If you are AT ALL SICK, or concerned you may be getting sick, PLEASE STAY HOME so we can limit exposure to the wedding party and guests. If you had already RSVP yes, that is ok, we would prefer you to stay home and healthy! While we know COVID presents its own challenges, our goal is to begin our new lives together, and celebrate with all of the important people in our lives. While we know this virus has made it not possible to do so as we imagined, please know we are following ALL recommendations by the CDC, and both city and state guidelines to keep our loved ones, and ourselves, safe.

Question

What is the update on the ceremony at the church?

Answer

CHURCH RULES. Our church is only allowing 20% capacity to attend our wedding ceremony. To attend the wedding, sadly, everyone will have to wear a mask so please come with one. In the event anyone forgets, we will have masks to provide people. We will also be very spaced out across the church, so make sure everyone sings loud to fill that church :)

Question

What are the updates with the wedding reception?

Answer

THE VENUE. The venue staff will be masked and gloved for service. They have extra cleaning crews maintaining upkeep. Masks will be OPTIONAL for guests. County Line Orchard has been reopened for weddings throughout the month of June, and have been successful in keeping everyone safe. They are following all guidelines from both their state and the CDC. Table sizes were originally 10 and 12, but they have decreased those numbers to mainly 6 and 8 guests per table. Some may be larger based on the group or family. We will keep the spacing on the main floor, and add guest seating upstairs in the loft, to maintain as much distancing as possible, but still allowing a celebration. If you would feel more comfortable wearing a mask, it is your choice to do so, the same as it is someone’s choice to not. If people forget or do not bring their own mask, we will have them to give out. We also have purchased additional hand sanitizer to place around, in addition to what the venue provides.

Question

How are we dealing with the church limitations on who can witness our marriage ceremony?

Answer

This is a very hard question with not an easy answer. We are going to contact the guests that have said yes to coming to the wedding, and see if you plan on attending the church ceremony. We ask you to PLEASE RSVP through this website, under ceremony section, with your plans in regards to the marriage at the church. If you prefer to contact us directly, or our parents, please tell us/them your plans, whether it is a yes or a no on attending the church portion. If it seems we will exceed our allotted amount of people, we will contact everyone with an alternate plan. PLEASE try to submit the WEDDING CEREMONY RSVP by JULY THIRD.
