If you’re coming from the East, westbound Hwy 36 will be closed Friday night thru Sunday.
…most of the anxiety I have is about parking. So, I might have to give a daily parking update (for the wedding) so I can do my other chores! As part of our SPECIAL EVENT permit, we get to cover ALL 🚫 Parking signs!! It’s like a wedding gift from the City of Roseville. Choose neighborhood streets like Nancy Dr, Transit, or any other around the house. OR you can park at Central Park ball fields or playground (off Victoria). If you get stumped, pull into the driveway and we’ll find a valet!
This celebration has encompassed a village of helpers. Yardwork, ramp building, tent floor design and assembly. It’ll be a busy week as tmrw the tent building begins!
YOU DON’T!! Combining 2 households and enjoying hand me downs leaves little need for anything. But, people like to give presents. I do. So, I get it. EVERYONE has things they’d like to get rid of. Search your house and gift us something second hand. One man’s trash is another’s treasure. Right? Looking forward to seeing what comes our way 🎁
Feels great to go from To Do-to DONE! Gardens/flowers planted, ramp from tent to house complete, ceremony planned, wedding dress & accessories purchased and 🤞🏻 driveway project finishes today. Still a long list to tackle, but who else is more productive when time is slipping away? 3 weeks, babe! Then ur stuck FOREVER! 🩷💙👰🏻♀️🤵🏻♂️
It’s not the usual story, but has the key ingredients. 2 divorced people- each with 4 kids. His 4 are all older than my 4, but they range from 35 to 17. Both grateful for the families created from the past, but we outgrew those marriages. Friends for a long time first. Sharing stories, Friday night steaks, board games and a lot of wine. Scot had Fred. I had Millie and Dot. Millie was not interested being Fred’s pal. Patience and time and they figured it out. The first year was bumpy. Should we stay together? Break up? Friends? Or cut bait and move on? I’ve always said dating is about catch and release. But we soon realized, everything we did together turned out better than if we did it alone. Better Together. We added Abraham and launched Amy’s Puppy Tzu. Breeding CavaTzus brought more joy than we thought possible. We found pain relief and a break from anxiety, depression, and the heaviness of life with THC. Scott bought some seeds. Grew some little plants. Learned about fertilizer, CO2, and tents. Grew some bigger plants. Somewhere in there I moved into the Roseville house. We added more dogs. Grew more plants. Maybe we’ve got the foundation of an enterprise? I know I’ve got a book or 2 to write. You have a band to create. Music to write. Let’s keep at it since we’re Better Together! Amy
