It all started with an awkward triple date. Scot and Amy were set up by a friend of Amy's and Carolyn, Scot's sister in law. The date was scheduled for the evening of June 12, 2018 at Kona Grill in The Village at Meridian. They had sushi, fun was had by all and then at the end of the night... Scot made the move and asked Amy for her phone number. From that moment on their journey began - they are completely meant to be.
After one year of dating, they were ready. Scot knew he wanted Amy to be his wife, and Amy couldn't picture her life with anyone else. They bring out the best in each other and it was time to pop the question. Scot took his place on a rooftop in Boise, over looking the downtown cityscape - he waited, candles lit and roses sprinkled around. Amy was mysteriously led to the same rooftop where the darkness had settled and she exclaimed in complete hesitation "why is there a man over there" - Scot expressed his unwavering love for her and got down on one knee to ask her to be his wife.
They were supposed to get married in September of 2020..... but here we are. Scot and Amy rolled with the punches of having to postpone their wedding and took the year to keep loving each other, and loving each other well. For those of you that know them as a couple, you know their love is easy, it is natural, and it is completely pure. They waited for each other, and at exactly the right time - their lives intertwined and began unfolding as one. This is just the beginning of their love story and look forward to everything life has to offer the newest Uhl family from this moment forward.
