There are a few ways to get to Positano, Italy: From Rome: From Rome take a short train (less than 1 hour) to Naples. From Naples you can take a shuttle, taxi or private car to Positano (45 minute to 1 hour drive). From Naples: The more direct route is to fly directly into the Naples airport and take a car to Positano. Upon request we can arrange a shuttle from the Naples airport to Positano, or you may arrange your own transportation. If you would prefer to organize your own transport from the airport, we suggest using the company “Positano Car Service.” Renting a car is not recommended due to the difficulty of the roads around the coast of Italy. Positano is a small town and many locations are within walking distance. Other options to get around town are car and taxi services.
