We first met in 2016. We had been Facebook friends for a while and eventually started talking on Snapchat. One day, Randy showed up at Amy’s work, and at first, she had no idea who he was. She didn’t even know his real name yet, just his Snapchat username! After some playful teasing from Randy, they quickly made plans to see each other again. From the very beginning, there was something easy and electric about the way we connected. That first official hangout in the summer of 2016 felt magnetic, like the universe had set it in motion. It was truly written in the stars for us to meet when we did. Fittingly, the spot where this celebration is being held is just down the road from where we first sat and talked. We had no idea that conversation would forever change our lives, but we talked about everything: music, marriage, kids, life. It felt like we had known each other in another lifetime. And from that day forward, we stayed in each other’s lives. Since then, we’ve built a life together full of travel, gaming, and of course, pro wrestling (we’re a WWE house!). We made it “Facebook official” on October 10, 2016. We got our first apartment together in February 2017. And on December 21, 2024, Randy, in true-to-him fashion, proposed at the Christmas lights in Newport. He casually asked Amy to close her eyes and not make a scene before slipping a ring on her finger. Our relationship is rooted in deep friendship, laughter, and unconditional love. We’ve faced challenges and hard seasons, but we’ve grown stronger through it all, building an unbreakable bond. You may hear us refer to this day as our wedding, and it is. While we’ve chosen not to sign legal paperwork, we’re sharing personal vows and celebrating our commitment surrounded by the people who matter most. So whether you call it a wedding or a commitment ceremony, know that it is still our forever, and we are so honored to have you be part of it.
