Wedding Party

Amy Marlene Wolford-Miller

Bride

Randal (Randy) Michael Mayhall

Groom

Trevor Miller

Bridesman

Trevor, the bride’s oldest son, arrived in the world as the cuddly baby Amy always dreamed of. He was the kind of baby who melted into your arms like a warm cinnamon roll, and honestly, he never really grew out of it. He still loves to snuggle—he’s just upgraded his preferred snuggle partner. These days, Maddi gets the premium cuddle package, while poor Mom has been downgraded to “occasional hugs and stolen kisses when he’s distracted.” Amy takes what she can get. From the moment Trevor met Randy, he liked him. Maybe even loved him. And when he found out Amy and Randy were getting married, he was thrilled. Now, was that enthusiasm for the happy couple… or for the happy news that the house was staying exactly where he was? Hard to say. Let’s call it a 50/50 split. In most families, the kids grow up and leave the nest. In this family, the kids shoved Mom out of the nest, handed her to Randy, and settled back into the house like, “Great, now that that’s handled…” One thing’s for sure: Trevor may be grown, but he’s still Amy’s soft-hearted, snuggle-loving, house-staying, Randy-approving firstborn—and she wouldn’t trade him for anything.

Colton Miller

Bridesman

If you ever hear Maryann talking about “the Pokeman,” she’s not referencing a video game—she’s talking about Colton. And honestly, it fits. If you’re hunting for Pokémon cards, trading advice, or a weekend card show, he’s your man. Just follow the sound of booster packs being opened and you’ll find him. Colton likes to remind Amy that he is a grown man, but she’s quick to remind him that he was her last baby—and therefore will forever remain her baby. He has a heart of gold and gives fantastic hugs… on the rare occasions she can talk him into one. He currently shares a home with his brother, and things are going about as smoothly as one would expect for two young men who are nothing alike trying to cohabitate. Let’s just say it keeps life interesting. And if you ever lose track of him, don’t worry. Just look up the nearest weekend Pokémon card show—there’s a good chance Colton is there, thriving in his element.

Myranda Mayhall

Groomswoman

Myranda — The Groom’s Daughter If you ever hear a quacking sound echoing through the room, don’t worry—no ducks are loose. That’s just Randy’s phone announcing his favorite kind of call: one from Myranda, his sweetheart, his pride, and the grown woman he still can’t help seeing as the little girl who once held his hand. Independent, capable, and wonderfully her own person, Myranda makes her dad beam with pride. And yet, give him half a chance and he’ll happily launch into a story from her childhood—usually one she didn’t exactly ask him to share. Some things never change. Luckily for everyone (especially Randy), Myranda and Amy get along extremely well. Maybe a little too well for his comfort. It turns out the “I hoped to meet someone that got along well with my daughter” wish Randy once shared with Amy came true… just not in the way he expected. He followed that up with with “but I didn’t expect the two of you to gang up on me”. Now the two of them occasionally team up to swap Randy stories, compare notes, and lovingly keep him in line. It’s a full‑time job, but they make an excellent team. Myranda brings heart, humor, and a whole lot of joy to this celebration—and to her dad’s life every day.

Glenda Wolford

Mother of the Bride

Glenda is Amy’s forever travel partner, adventure buddy, and the first one to say “Why not?” when a new trip idea pops up. She’s thrilled to watch Amy and Randy begin their own adventure as husband and wife—and especially delighted that Randy isn’t much of a traveler himself. That just means Amy still needs her favorite seatmate, snack‑sharer, and spontaneous‑detour‑enabler: her mom. Growing up, Amy and her brother learned one of life’s most important lessons from Glenda: enjoy the good stuff while you can. When it was just the three of them out to eat, dessert didn’t come last—it came first. Why risk getting full before the best part? That joyful, seize‑the‑moment spirit is pure Glenda, and it’s something she’s passed on to her kids in the sweetest way. She couldn’t be more grateful for the happiness Randy brings to Amy’s life, and she’s ready to cheer them on—high‑energy, big‑smile, dessert‑first enthusiasm and all.

Maryann Mayhall

Mother of the Groom

Jim Wolford

Father of the Bride

Though Jim is no longer with us, he walks beside Amy in every step she takes toward this new chapter. Jim was the kind of father whose presence shaped a life—steady, loving, and deeply rooted in who he was. He gave Amy not only unconditional support, but also a clear picture of what a true partner should be: honest, genuine, and grounded. Jim adored Randy from the start. He often said his favorite people were those who simply are who they are, not trying to impress anyone. And with Randy, he saw exactly that—“what you see is what you get,” he told Amy, and he meant it as the highest compliment. One of the family’s most cherished memories came long before the proposal. When Randy traveled to the Wolford home in Odon, Indiana to ask for Amy’s hand in marriage, Jim told him that he and Glenda were hoping that was exactly why he’d called and needed to meet right away. It was his way of offering his blessing with warmth, excitement, and that unmistakable Jim sincerity. Jim’s love, humor, and quiet wisdom remain woven into this day. His spirit lives on in Amy’s heart, in the family he shaped, and in the joy surrounding this celebration.

Glen (Pete) Mayhall

Father of the Groom (Deceased)

Randy’s dad, Pete, is deeply missed and lovingly remembered today. He spent his life farming alongside his own father—Pop as Randy called him—and later welcomed Randy into the fields with them. The three of them worked side by side, building not just a farm, but a family legacy rooted in hard work, grit, and a whole lot of love. Pete did his best to keep Randy on the straight and narrow, though “moderately successful” might be the fairest way to put it. Fortunately, his success with farming was undeniable. Randy carries countless memories of life on the farm with his mom, dad, and grandparents—moments full of laughter, lessons, challenges, and the kind of everyday magic that only comes from growing up in a place where family and work are woven together. As the years go by, Randy often catches himself doing the very things he once got frustrated with his dad for doing. It’s a humbling reminder of how much of Pete lives on in him. And every time Randy climbs into a tractor or combine, he feels that connection even more. The hum of the engine, the rhythm of the fields, the quiet moments at sunrise or sunset—they all bring Pete close again. It’s in those moments that Randy is reminded of the love they shared, the lessons passed down, and the bond that will always remain.

Madeline Samm

Long-Term Girlfriend of Trevor and Unofficial Family Member

Every family has that one person who isn’t technically in the family tree but has been around so long that everyone forgets the paperwork part. For us, that’s Maddi—affectionately known as Miss Maddi, the long‑term girlfriend of Amy’s oldest son, Trevor, and a beloved honorary member of the crew. She’s been part of our lives for years, and frankly, we’d like to keep it that way. Amy treats her like one of her own, and Maddi’s family returns the favor by loving Trevor right back. She’s the kind of person who always appreciates a good Randy story—and Randy thinks Maddi is sweeter than a slice of wedding cake. When Amy announced that a wedding date had finally been set, Maddi didn’t just celebrate—she went into full‑scale wedding‑planning mode. It’s still unclear whether she’s genuinely this excited about Amy and Randy tying the knot or if she simply missed her calling as a professional wedding planner. Either way, Amy has no idea how she would have survived this process without Maddi’s endless ideas, honest feedback, and willingness to jump in wherever needed. One thing is certain: if Amy’s hair or makeup look questionable on the big day… just go ahead and blame Maddi.

Cameron Jones

?

Meet Cam — the Groom’s Daughter’s Boyfriend (and our surprise 20% family expansion) When Cam came into Myranda’s life, we knew two things immediately: He fit right in, and Statistically speaking, he increased the size of the family by 20%, which feels like a pretty solid return on investment. Cam’s love of animals pairs perfectly with Myranda’s lifelong obsession, forming a duo that can’t walk past a dog, cat, squirrel, or suspiciously shaped rock without stopping to admire it. When they’re not befriending wildlife, they’re in the kitchen crafting homemade pizzas so good they’ve made the rest of us question our life choices. And as if that weren’t enough, they’re dedicated to their fitness routine — a commitment that should pay off nicely for Randy and Amy when they need strong, energetic helpers in their golden years. He’s probably learning this next part right now as he reads it, but we’d like to thank Cam in advance for all the help we fully expect from him — with the wedding, with the family, and with whatever future adventures we rope him into. Welcome to the chaos, Cam. We’re glad you’re here.
