How We Met

Tinder has done it again!

Well well well... It seems like some dating apps do work. We planned to hang out and go for a drive. He took me to the "Top of Campbell," a great place to over look the city of Tucson with the moon high above us and the lights of the city glimmering. After sharing some of our favorite music and talking about some of the nerdiest things, everything felt right. Perfect even. I couldn't stop thinking about him and I remember calling my mom about him that following Monday. Swiping right was a good choice.

How Rafael Proposed

Disneyland... The most magical place on earth!

After a long six hour drive from Tucson to Anaheim (including several wrong terms, a stretchy bathroom break in the middle of nowhere, and lots of traffic) we finally made it to Disneyland the following day! The day was filled with wonderful moments, great laughs, yummy food, and pictures with silly hats. As the night drew closer, we went back to the castle where it was lit and beautiful. Rafael took me to a secluded place with a great view of the castle. Wearing his wonderful Yoda hat, he got down on one knee and proposed. There were tears, kisses, and hugs. We ended the night getting a couple of drinks over at the "Mos Eisley Cantina" from Star Wars and got to watch the fireworks. Unforgettable night!

For all the days along the way
