Peggy and Amy's first date was on a Sunday night at 7 pm. Peggy meticulously picked her outfit, sharing pictures of it with her friends while Amy approached it a bit more casually. They picked a Sunday night both secretly thinking a work night would be a good excuse to leave if the date didn't go well. However, they both enjoyed each other's company so much that the date lasted three hours. Both of them were very tired at work the next day, but it was worth it. That date turned into multiple dates and their love began to grow.
The first talk of marriage came out of Amy's mouth when she was in the hospital recovering from her spinal fusion surgery on 10/2/2019. Peggy recognized that Amy was in no shape to seriously have this conversation, so she said "yes, but we will need to talk about it later". Many conversations led to deciding to purchase rings during our "stay-cation" in Kansas City over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2020. We couldn't be happier to share our lives together and our special day with you all!
