Amy and Nolan met at after a mutual acquaintance introduced Amy to Nolan's band, the Hendersons. When Amy went to see the Hendersons play, she had a crush on Nolan straightaway. Nolan and Amy spent a few years as friends, slowly realizing they shared much more than their love of 70s pop and a social circle. At the same time, their friends saw the connection and nudged Amy and Nolan towards love (y'all know who you are, and we thank you 🥰). Nolan asked Amy on their first date on Valentine's Day of 2019. They went to dinner and then to the arcade. They've been sharing good meals, good games, and good laughs together ever since.
