We both went to Dalhousie University, where our paths crossed plenty of times - from business classes to parties in Howe Hall - but we didn’t truly get to know each other until we both received our co-op offers from PwC, and fate (Michael Burrows) stepped in. Our good friend gave Mitch a helpful nudge to give Amy a call. That call was weird. Mitch had nothing to say. But it marked the start of a friendship that would change everything. Over the next four years, countless hours spent together at The Lower Deck, working on 'group' business projects, carpooling and jamming to One Direction and firing up our PwC work socials turned that friendship into something special. “I’ll marry him one day,” Amy would often joke to her friends. As it turns out, she wasn’t joking. We bonded easily over our shared love of bringing people together, planning epic parties, traveling the world, and indulging in extravagant foods (chicken strips). After 10 years of getting to know and love each other, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who have been part of our journey from the start.
