How do I get to the Bohlin?

Answer

The Bohlin sits near the water. It is immediately to the right and behind the Hammett's Hotel. (see image above) From Americas Cup Avenue, turn down Commercial Wharf and walk towards the water. If you see a large cloth tent, you have arrived! Enjoy a drink!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire is black-tie-optional. For ladies, you can opt for your favorite cocktail length or floor length dress. For gentlemen, a suit and tie will look great!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but the reception will be an adult-only affair so you can really let your hair down! If you would like help arranging babysitter services in the Newport area, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!

Is there parking available at the ceremony or reception sites?

Answer

The Hotel Viking has $5 valet parking available at the ceremony location. While there is public parking available near the reception location, it can be tricky and scarce. If you are driving in from outside downtown Newport, please get in touch with us to help you arrange parking.

Is there transportation?

Answer

We will be providing a trolley service after the wedding ceremony that will be able to take guests from Kay Chapel to the main street of Newport (drop-off at the Red Parrot). Now you are right where the action is - We encourage you to enjoy a drink or browse the local shops around Commercial Wharf. We will see you at 5:30pm for cocktail hour at The Bohlin!
