Jackson Falls
Fun area with lots of natural swimming pools and small waterfalls to explore. There are places to picnic, and large flat rocks to sunbathe. Easily accessible from the road and just a short walk from the Wentworth!
North Conway
A year-round resort area, North Conway is the largest village within the town of Conway with an abundance of restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. Make sure to check out Zeb's General Store!
Hiking the White Mountains
There are countless hikes to choose from around Jackson! The attached link describes a number of nearby options. One of Amy and Mike's favorite hikes (located about 30mins from Jackson) is the Mount Willard Trail - it's an easy/moderate 3.5 mile hike that offers stunning views of the Crawford Notch
The Mt. Washington Cog Railway
Take a scenic train ride to the Summit of Mount Washington on the World’s First Mountain-Climbing Cog Railway train! A trip on the Mount Washington Cog Railway is a great way to experience the White Mountains and New Hampshire
GOLF
There are a number of public golf courses in and around Jackson. The Wentworth Golf club is located right next to the Inn and the Eagle Mountain Golf course is less than a mile away! https://www.eaglemt.com/
Omni Mount Washington Resort
Explore the beautiful and historic grounds of the Omni Mount Washington Hotel. Across the street at the Bretton Woods Ski resort you can also take a gondola ride to top of the mountain or a canopy tour across a series of tree-top zip lines, sky bridges and platforms!
J-Town Deli & Country Store
Great spot to grab a snack or some lunch in Jackson. Also sells local goods and beer!
