On December 22nd Michael surprised Amy with the most incredible surprise proposal. After spending several months planning something that would be special and involve the family. He hired a photographer and planned an evening starting with dinner at Teak at the St. Petersburg pier and followed by a visit to Enchantment at the Trop. After dinner Michael suggested a walk down the pier and back. When we arrived back near the entrance to the restaurant a photographer asked if he could photograph our family for his Facebook page. After taking a few family pics he suggested a few with just the two of us together. As we were kissing Michael started to pull a ring box out of his jacket pocket and got down on one knee. The photographer captured every moment which was filled with tears, laughter, kisses and everything in between. After the proposal Michael shared that the photographer was a firefighter friend/photographer that he has known for years and was hired for the night. We then spent the next hour taking pictures at various points along the pier and celebrating the engagement. Amy was so caught up in the moment that she didn’t even really see the gorgeous ring until later. It was the most perfect proposal and the beginning of our journey to the alter. We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding with friends and family on February 15, 2025.
