Our story began on a crisp November day at the Norfolk YMCA. No, we didn't meet each other at the gym, but rather through our church Thanksgiving service. Amy was helping serve the food that day and as countless faces came through the line, she didn't notice Levi, but he noticed her. When all had been served, and Amy was making her plate, Levi came up and kindly introduced himself. Amy said hello, but didn't think much of it and went to eat her food across the room. When it was time to clean up, Levi approached Amy again asking how he could help and each time Amy gave him a job further away from her or to help with someone else. (She really was clueless...poor guy!) Eventually they ended up at LifePoint Church to unload everything that day and Amy was washing dishes and Levi came in to ask if he could help. Finally, Amy started to realize this guy was following her and decided to stop pushing him away. For 45 minutes Amy washed utensils and Levi washed one single pie plate to keep talking with her. It was then that Amy thought maybe this guy was worth getting to know. On December 2nd, Amy and Levi met for coffee and the rest is history as they say. Truly our story is God's story and we are so thankful He began writing it long before we did. It is only because of His love and grace we found each other and have experienced many amazing moments together and look forward to all the chapters He has yet to write.
