Ithaca Farmers Market
Open Saturday and Sunday, we go here every time we visit Ithaca! There are a bunch of different cuisines; Tibetan, Cuban, Thai, French, Japanese to name a few. There are also local makers with all sorts of goods and crafts! It gets really busy throughout the day, so its best to go early in the morning, or be prepared to deal with crowded parking and long lines at some of the more popular booths.
Buttermilk Falls State Park
This is a great spot to go swimming on a hot summer day and only short drive from downtown. They also have some great hiking trails.
Robert H. Treman State Park
Really fun swimming spot with a diving board!
Taughannock Falls State Park
Easy hike with a beautiful view at the end of Taughannock falls! 1.5 m roundtrip on a fairly flat trail, you can even walk up through the gorge in the water, since its really shallow. Don't forget to stop by the overlook before you leave for the best view!

Head to the 5th floor for panoramic views of Cornell Campus and the lake!
