Wedding: Unfortunately, we cannot have everyone's kids attend the wedding - there is very limited space and we thank you for understanding! Please see your invitation for # of RSVPs. Farewell/Birthday Picnic: Pets and kids are welcome. Pets will need to remain outside, off of the playground, and leashed.

How do we easily get to the Casino and the Activities Building?

Casino: Use entrance at 7th Street and Hazen Road Hermitage, PA. Casino building and pool straight ahead. Parking lot to the left across from Casino. Activities Building: Use entrance at 730 Forker Blvd Sharon, PA. Stone building straight ahead at fork in road - to left is a parking lot, to right is front entrance to building. You may use parking lot or road along building to park.

Details about The Casino and The Activities Building

Casino: 2-story building; temperature controlled with access to outside veranda. Alcohol only allowed inside and on upstairs veranda; Smoking only allowed at bottom stairs of front entrance. Activities Building: Indoor restrooms; temperature controlled. Access to outdoor area, playground and covered picnic tables (Shelter 3). Dogs are not allowed inside building and smoking is only allowed in designated outside zones.

Buhl Park's Closing Time

There are several gated entrances to Buhl Park that remain open until 9pm with the exception of one in order to drive out after closing. Please make sure you're familiar with this entrance/exit if you plan on driving yourself from the venue: Located off Forker Blvd, close to the intersection at Hazen Road (You will see Avalon Country Club building within the park and Buhl Park Golf Course entrance across street).

Does Buhl Park allow alcohol or smoking?
Answer
Buhl Park does not allow alcohol on the premises without an approved permit. The reception at the Casino building will have the approved permits for alcohol to be served to guests 21+. The buildings, shelters, playgrounds, etc. are smoke/vape-free unless in designated zones outside. Thank you for keeping the park safe and clean!

Is there a registry?
Answer
There will not be a formal registry. Amy, Kevin and their pets already live together and ask if you feel inclined to give a gift, money towards their fixer-upper house is greatly appreciated.

Why is Buhl Park Casino called a "casino"?
Answer
Buhl Park Casino is not a typical "casino" as we know today. Historically, the term “casino” referred to a place of gathering. This 100+ year old building held many events in Sharon's early history, so the term "casino" has stuck with it all these years later.
