When Josh and I first met was through an old mutual friend. We were all hanging out at the good ol bar called Parmer Lane Tavern aka PLT. We were both with friends and were both introduced. We small talked exchanged smiles and went on our own separate ways. About a year later we reunited at the good ol PLT. That night Mr. Fisher came in with his roommate to play pool, we talked, laughed, and at the end of the night he asked for my number. So I gave him my number and pretty much said to my self hey...if he calls, he calls, if not, then it's ok. Later on that week I went out of town visiting my cousin for her birthday in Dallas. My cousin and I were talking about him at her party. We discuss how we met and that I was hoping he would call me! While at the party I was talking with my her and then....my phone rang! I looked at my phone and it was Mr. Fisher! I was so nervous to answer and my cousin was telling me to breathe and be chill....well I think I answered the phone like I hit puberty (in the highest pitched voice ever)!! He asked what I was doing for the evening and wanted to go out to dinner but of course I was 3.5 hours away so that couldn't happen. #emojieyeroll So, I let him know that I was out of town and would be back in a couple of days. When I returned back to Austin I called him to see if he was still up for that dinner date. And he was completely still in to go, thank goodness. That evening we went out on our first date to ZTejas downtown and of course drinks after. So here we are seven years later...... We have been engaged for two years now and now is the time to finally elope.... this is no joke! We could not be more happier and so excited for this next chapter in our lives. We are so blessed to have people that are so supportive of our relationship. This is going to be the most memorable trip ever! We got engaged in Bahamas in a private setting in our hotel room! We were out on the balcony and Josh got down on one knee and he said....."I know I can be an asshole but I love you Amy!...Do you want to marry me?" And I said...YES! (while ugly crying) We are so happy for this elopement! We can not wait to see everyone Punta Cana!
