Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting formal dress code for the evening. For men, this means suits, or button down shirts and dress pants with a tie or bow ties. For women, floor length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy jumpsuits are appropriate. We encourage everyone to dress to impress while keeping in mind the venue and weather. If you’re unsure - it is always better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed! Wear whatever color you would like, but please no white.

What’s the weather like in Virginia for that time of year?

Answer

On average Virginia has fairly mild winters ranging from 43°F-55°F during the day time, and falling down between 28°F-43°F in the evenings. Snow is not typical for the area, yet is always a possibility. Coats are recommended as the ceremony will be held outside.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than November 30, 2025 to ensure a final head count can be given to the venue.

Should I bring the gift to the reception location?

Answer

Many of our guests are traveling and cards are welcome at the reception. As for any gifts purchased off the wedding registries they can be shipped directly to our house to alleviate and hassle of traveling with them. This can be directly done through either the Zola or Amazon wedding registries located under the registry tab on this website.

Yes! What better way to celebrate our love than to celebrate with every generation in our lives.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment presently with us and leave cell phones or cameras in your purse or pocket for the ceremony. We have hired an amazing team to capture every detail of the wedding and we will of course share those with you afterwards. After the ceremony we encourage you to help capture our special day and we encourage you to snap away!

What time should I arrive

Answer

Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow for time to enter the venue, park and find seating. Access to the ceremony site will be secured 5 minutes before the start. No late entry to the ceremony will be allowed.
