We're getting married!

We first connected on the dating app ‘Hinge’ at the beginning of 2022, when Amy was living in Scotland and Jake was in Australia. At first, we weren’t sure how long-distance would work, often staying up into the early hours just to hear about each other's day. However, as we continued to get to know one another, it became evident that what we had was something special. The summer of 2022 confirmed this when Jake made the journey to Scotland to meet in person. After another few months of long-distance, Amy took a trip to Australia and decided that she wanted to move and make Australia her second home. In 2023, Amy packed up her life into a suitcase and made the move down under. We finally could experience life together, and as it seemed, it was everything we had ever prayed for. We navigated the ups and downs, facing the great times and challenges together, but always finding joy in the journey. After a year together in Australia and a long-awaited trip to Scotland, we visited the breathtaking Isle of Skye, where Jake got down on one knee and Amy said the easiest "yes." We feel deeply blessed, knowing that God has guided us every step of the way. We are so thankful for each of you being part of our journey, and being our incredible support system.
