Travel Note
The venue is 1 hour 30 min drive from Pisa Airport and 52 min drive from Florence Airport. We recommend those travelling from London to fly to Pisa, as flights to Pisa Airport from London are significantly cheaper than to Florence. Wherever you are travelling to, we also recommend hiring a car as this gives you the opportunity to easily explore the surrounding area (there is parking available at the Borgo).

Tips for a smooth car hire process: 1. You will need to bring a credit card in the name of the named driver as most companies do not accept debit cards. Please note that many car hire companies will not accept store credit cards (e.g. John Lewis, M&S etc). 2. To avoid the extortionate excess insurance that many of the car hire companies will suggest at the hire desk, its recommended that you get independent single trip or annual cover. The company Worldwide Insure is recommended by our wedding planner. 3. Whilst the cheaper care hire companies may offer lower cost alternatives of similar packages, be aware that you will likely encounter much longer queues at arrivals and a longer trek to the pick-up office.
