What should I wear?
Answer
The dress 'code' is semi-formal--we plan to be outside most of the day, so wear comfortable clothes and shoes and some layers to stay warm if there's a strong breeze off the water! Sunblock strongly recommended.

Are children invited to the wedding?
Answer
No, sorry. We recognize that some of our guests have very small children that may need to make some appearances, but this event is meant to be child-free. We have planned to arrange babysitting for anyone who would find it helpful with the assistance of the locals! There is also no problem with popping in and out during the day as necessary to make sure everyone is happy and having fun.

What will we be doing during the reception?
Answer
We aren't strong dancers... So the typical dancing-the-night-away routine isn't a great choice. There will be lots of food, lawn games, board games, photos, carefully curated music, booze, and hopefully sunshine! We want this to be the fanciest backyard BBQ you've ever attended. Also: if you have an idea of something you'd enjoy--let us know ASAP!

What does 'party all night' on the invitations mean?
Answer
Okay, so we don't party TOO hard, but there will be a short ceremony, reception (games/drinks/finger foods) and later in the evening we will bring out pizza from our favorite place for those who really want to revel in the celebratory atmosphere!
