We highly encourage guests to stay in the town of Telluride. If you choose to stay in Mountain Village, please keep in mind that the gondola ride into town takes approximately 13 minutes. The most convenient airport is Telluride Regional Airport (TEX), located just minutes from town. However, flight availability can be limited, with service typically offered by Denver Air Connection and often only one flight per day. Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) is the most popular airport for visitors and offers significantly more flight options, along with shuttle services to Telluride. Durango (DRO) and Grand Junction (GJT) are additional options, though they require a longer drive.
